In the mosaics in the city of Zeugma, which has reached today from 2000 years ago, besides the mythological subjects of the ancient period, the subjects of sanctification of the Euphrates River, which spread abundance and abundance around it, were also covered. During the 1998-1999 rescue excavations, when the 'Gypsy Girl' mosaic was found where it was hidden, archaeologists realized that the area was looted and some pieces were missing. Other mosaic pieces found here by smugglers of historical artifacts were abducted from the country in the 1960s. The works were purchased by Bowling Green University in Ohio, USA. Mosaic pieces were requested back from the university in 2012. Turkey is considered among the most impressive historical monuments "Gypsy Girl" missing pieces of the mosaic, 58 years after the United States missed was brought back to the country. Twelve pieces of the nearly 2,000-year-old mosaic were brought to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep as a result of the initiatives. There are descriptions such as satir, pan mask, partridge, Indian peacock, maenad mask in 12 mosaic works stolen from the border of the Gypsy Girl mosaic. On the Mosaic Vase, 6 bird figures from these 12 works were stylized and used. The Mosaic Vase is made of hand-made glass and all the relief patterns on it are decorated using gold and aged paints.
