Patterns on the Münakkaş Plate are designed with an inspiration from the glazed tiles of Bursa Green Mosque, which was built in 1413 upon the orders by Sultan Mehmet Çelebi, who was the son of Yıldırım Bayezid. Green Mosque is a magnificent building with two floors and two domes, built to serve as the Local Government Office as well as a mosque. It is very significant, both with its architectural features and its glazed tiles. It has the first glazed tiled mihrab of the early Ottoman period. The Münakkaş Plate is hand made glass and all of the relief design on the product is decorated by hand using 24 carat gold. The production of the Münakkaş Plate is limited to 2000 pieces.
