Narlı Ashura Jug took its form from the big jugs called 'Ashurelik' which the Ottoman palace and mansion people used to distribute the ashura. Pomegranate and herbal decoration motifs are used as patterns on the body of the jug. The 'pomegranate' motif is seen as a symbol of abundance, fertility and fertility in different cultures and geographies. In Anatolia, 'Pomegranate' has been one of the most important figures symbolizing abundance from antiquity to the present day. Narlı Ashura Jug is made of hand made green glass and all the relief patterns on it are decorated with hand work. Cover with pomegranate motif is made of brass material.
